The upper cloth is crafted from jacquard velvet, woven with an allover foliage motif that reveals layered leaves in muted gold, slate, and antique tones. The velvet’s subtle sheen enhances the dimensionality of the jacquard, allowing the pattern to shift beautifully with the light.
Below, a finely textured woven textile grounds the design with structure and weight, providing contrast to the plush upper layer. A soft golden fringe traces the transition between fabrics, adding movement and a decorative finish that highlights the piece’s craftsmanship.
Designed by Gala Pagaux, this tablecloth is composed using carefully sourced vintage and designer fabrics from Turkey, France, Italy, and India. Each piece is assembled by hand and is entirely one of a kind—an enduring expression of elevated tableware and timeless design.
