A well-set table is an invitation to stay, and every Gala Pagaux piece is made with that moment in mind — the one that stretches past the meal, where the setting holds its own and the objects on the table are as considered as the people around it.

Gala Pagaux makes textiles for the table — tablecloths, placemats, and napkins — composed from vintage and designer fabrics and produced in small numbers. Alongside the catalogue, we take on commissions and sourcing projects, working to a specific table, room, or fabric.

Fabrics are sourced globally, vintage and designer, and acquired in single lengths. Each tablecloth is then composed and assembled by hand in Istanbul, the pairings arrived at slowly and with the finished table in mind.

No two pieces in the Gala Pagaux catalogue are alike. The fabric combinations that make each piece are unrepeatable by design, a natural consequence of working with textiles that exist in one length and no more. When a piece is sold, it is archived — what existed once does not exist again.

At the core of Gala Pagaux is the act of curating, the element of collection as part of table setting. Each Gala Pagaux tablecloth is one of one, but what truly makes it belong to someone is how it is transformed by its owner: layered with cutlery and tableware gathered over time, from different parts of the world, chosen not because they match perfectly, but because they speak to you.
